HTC Desire 728 Dual SIM smartphone has been officially launched in India, it is said to be an upgraded variant of the HTC Desire 728G was launched couple a month ago. HTC to expand its Desire Series line up with this new edition in India. The handset is available in Purple Myst and White Luxury color variants and has been priced at Rs 17,990. It is being sold online and offline retailers in India from next week.
The HTC Desire 728 Dual SIM features a 5.5-inch IPS display with HD 1280 x 720 pixels resolution that can offer a pixel density of 267ppi. It is powered by a 1.3 GHz Octa-core processor that can supported by MediaTek MT6753 chipset along with Mali-T720 MP2 GPU. It has 2GB of RAM and comes with 16GB of internal memory which can also be expanded up to whopping 2TB via microSD card. The device runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop based on HTC Sense UI interface out of the box, as of now not any news on Android 6.0 Marshmallow update.

The HTC Desire 728 comes with a 13-megapixel primary autofocus camera on the back with LED flash, BSI sensor and f/2.2 aperture. It can shoot Full HD 1080p videos at 30fps. On the front, it has a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with BSI sensor for selfies and video calling. It also supports HTC BoomSound dual front-facing stereo speakers with Dolby Audio technology for loud and crystal clear sound.

On the connectivity front, the HTC 728 includes 4G LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, A-GPS, Bluetooth 4.0, microUSB 2.0, 3.5 mm audio jack and FM radio options. The handset packs 2800mAh battery that can offer up to 485 hours of standby time and up to 21 hours of talk time.
