After the announcement of the HTC 10 evo for UK, Europe and Taiwanese markets yesterday. Now the company has launched Desire series budget smartphone – the HTC Desire 650 in Taiwan, priced at NT$ 5,490 – approximately $172 USD, and it will be available for purchase in the coming weeks in Taiwan.
Of course, It is an affordable smartphone from the manufacturer which comes with a half smooth and half textured back panel that gives you a perfect grip along with contrast color button, logo and camera outline gives it unique look. Today, most modern smartphones are available in a range of colors to suit various needs, but if you’re looking for a good mobile back cover, you’ll either need to buy it from elsewhere or customise it yourself.
The HTC Desire 650 features a 5.0-inch TFT LCD display alongside HD (720 x 1280 pixels) resolution that can convey a pixel density of 294ppi and the Corning Gorilla Glass protection on top of it. The handset is powered by the 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon quad-core processor (unspecfied details) paired with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of inbuilt storage which can be further expanded via microSD card up to 2TB.
Ont the camera front, the Desire 650 flaunts a 13-megapixel autofocus rear camera with BSI sensor,
f/2.2 aperture, 28 mm focal length and LED flash. There is also Geo-tagging, panorama, HDR, Continuous shooting, and can shoot Full HD videos in 1080p at 30 frames per second. It has a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with BSI sensor, f/2.8 aperture for selfie along with special modes like Auto Self-timer, Voice Self, Instant skin, Touch shooting, HDR and much more.
The Desire 650 runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS with company’s own HTC Sense UI interface and packs a 2200mAh battery with an extreme power saving mode that can help to deliver up to 17.5 hours of talk time, up to 28.5 days of standby time, up to 6.67 hours of video playback, and up to 44.14 hours music playback time.
On the connectivity front, includes 4G LTE, 3G, WiFi 802.11a/b/g/n, GPS, A-GPS, GLONASS, Bluetooth 4.1, NFC, Micro USB 2.0 and 3.5mm audio jack options. The device also features a BoomSound the HTC ultrasound move audio technology along with Hi-Res High Definition music. It measures 146.9 x 70.9 x 8.4 mm, and weighs 140 grams.
