HP on Tuesday launched new Z2 Mini Workstation PC for users in CAD and other compute-intensive industries. The HP Z2 Mini Workstation has been given a starting price of $699 USD, and is expected to be available worldwide in December this year. 
The HP Z2 Mini Workstation comes equipped with next generation Intel Xeon E3-1200v5 or Intel Core i3, i5, i7 processors, NVIDIA Quadro M620 2GB VRAM GPU, 32GB of DDR4 RAM and up to 1TB or 1.5TB 2.5″ SATA HDD + M.2 SSD. Notably, the price is without monitor, keyboard and mouse.
The Z2 Mini Workstation also features six display support with DisplayPort and HDMI ports. It was was designed for the millions of CAD users demanding smaller hardware without compromising acoustics and performance and mission-critical reliability. This new HP Mini PC also features built-in Wi-Fi a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.0, USB-C, and USB-A ports.
HP said, Z2 Mini is 90% smaller than a traditional business desktop PCs and in its highest configuration is double than other mini PCs on the market. It comes with a custom designed fans and a cooling system for whisper-quiet acoustics (63 percent quieter than an HP business-class mini PC) for workstation customers that need mission-critical reliability.
