Honor Watch Magic Smartwatch With 1.2-inch display, Heart rate Sensor, GPS Launched

Along with the Honor Magic 2, Huawei’s Honor Brand also announced the Honor Watch Magic smartwatch. The Watch Magic smartwatch packs 178mAh battery that claims up to up to 7 days of battery life and comes with heart rate monitoring features. The water-resistant watch also packs sleep and sports tracking features.

The features of the Watch Magic include the all-around sports activity tracking including indoor exercises, outdoor running, mountain climbing, cycling, and open water swimming. Apart from all of this, the Honor Watch Magic shows notifications of any messages, calls, reminders, or alarms as well.

New Honor Watch Magic features a round dial, which is similar to Huawei Watch GT that was introduced recently but with a slightly smaller display. It has a 1.2-inch (390 x 390 pixels) AMOLED color display with 326PPI pixel density and incorporates a dual-crown design with a 9.8mm stainless steel case.

The Watch Magic also integrates TruSeen 3.0 heart rate monitoring technology that is touted to provide a more efficient and accurate real-time personal heart-rate measurement. Combining innovative PPG optical and hardware design and AI algorithms, the solution can monitor the heart rate of users in real time with high precision. The TruRelax Technology analyses heart rate variability and access your stress status.

The Watch Magic is 5ATM water-resistant up to 50 meters, measuring 42.8 × 42.8 × 9.8mm and it weighs 32 grams. It comes with 16MB RAM and 128MB ROM, supports Bluetooth 4.2, NFC, GPS, GLONASS, and GALILEO. It does not support Wi-Fi. For pairing, it requires a device running Android 4.4 or later, or iOS 9.0 or later.

Honor Watch Magic price in China starts from CNY 899 – approximately $129 for the Black color with Silicon Band version. While the Silver color with Leather Band costs CNY 999 – approximately $143. It is already available for purchase in China.
