Honor V9 Play With 4GB RAM, 13MP Camera, 5.2-inch Display Announced

Honor V9 Play has been officially launched in China, this is Huawei’s Honor brand mid-range smartphone with a 13MP camera, Fingerprint sensor and metal unibody from the company being launched today. Huawei Honor V9 Play price in China is CNY 999 – approximately $153 for 3GB RAM model and 4GB RAM model has been priced at CNY 1199 – approximately $184. It will come in Gold, Rose Gold, Red, Blue and Black color options and available for order in China, it will go on sale from September 12th.

Honor V9 Play Specifications

The Honor V9 Play features a 5.2-inch 2.5D curved glass display with HD (720 x 1280 pixels) resolution and 65 percent NTSC Color Gamut. It is powered by a 1.5 GHz octa-core processor that’s backed by MediaTek MT6750 SoC clubbed with Mali T860 GPU. It packs 3GB / 4GB of RAM and 32GB of inbuilt storage which can be expanded via microSD card up to 128GB.

For optics, the V9 Play flaunts a 13-megapixel primary autofocus camera with PDAF, f/2.0 aperture, 1.12um pixel size, 5P lens and LED flash. For selfie, there is an 8-megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.2 aperture and wide-angle lens to capture a better group selfies and quality video calling. The Huawei Honor V9 Play comes equipped with a rear fingerprint sensor that can unlock the phone in 0.4 seconds.

The handset runs on Android 7.0 Nougat -based on EMUI 5.1 out of the box. It packs a 3000mAh battery, the device measures 147.9 x 73.2 x 7.65mm and weighs 145 grams. It supports hybrid SIM slot with dual standby, For connectivity includes 4G VoLTE, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, A-GPS, GLONASS, Bluetooth 4.1 LE, micro USB 2.0 and 3.5 mm audio jack options.
