After launching the Honor 6A budget smartphone, the company introduced its new Honor Play Tab 2 Tablet line-up. It comes in two different screen sizes – 8-inch and 9.6-inch. Both Honor tablets will be available in Wi-Fi only and 4G LTE variants, as well as different RAM / ROM models.
Both the Honor Play Pad 2 (8-inch) and Honor Play Pad 2 (9.6-inch) tablets are identical in design made of the 7.95mm thin metal unibody. Both tablets feature an IPS displays with the screen resolution of 1280×800 pixels. Both are powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 chipsets with either 2GB or 3GB of RAM – 16GB or 32GB inbuilt storage expanded via microSD card up to 128GB.
On the camera front, both the Honor Play Pad 2 tablets flaunt a 5-megapixel autofocus rear cameras and 2-megapixel front-facing cameras. For connectivity, including 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, A-GPS, and a Micro-USB port. Both tablets run Android 7.0 Nougat OS and packs in 4800mAh batteries.
