After the announcement of the Huawei MediaPad M6 last month, now Honor brand has launched its new Honor Pad 5 Tablet phone in India. It is available in 8-inch and 10.1-inch variants come in two storage options, a 5,100mAh battery, Dual Stereo speakers and HiSilicon Kirin SoCs.
Honor Pad 5 Price in India, Availability
Honor Pad 5 8.0-inch 3GB RAM version is priced at Rs. 15,499 and the 4GB RAM version is priced at Rs. 17,499. Honor Pad 5 10.1-inch 3GB RAM version is priced at Rs. 16,999 and the 4GB RAM version is priced at Rs. 18,999. Both Honor tablets are now available from Flipkart.com and come in Glacial Blue color only.
Honor Pad 5 Specifications
The Honor Pad 5 packs an 8-inch/10-inch full-HD (1920×1200 pixels) display, and powered by HiSilicon Kirin 710 Soc with ARM Mali-G51 MP4 GPU (8.0-inch) / HiSilicon Kirin 659 processor with ARM Mali-T830 MP2 GPU (10-inch) combined with 3GB / 4GB RAM and runs on Magic UI 2.0. It comes with 64GB of internal storage and can be further expanded up to 512GB through a MicroSD card.
On the camera front, the Pad 5’s 8-inch variant sports an 8-megapixel camera on the front with face unlock and back. As for the cameras, the Honor Pad 5’s 10.1-inch version sports an 8-megapixel auto-focus rear camera and a 2-megapixel fixed-focus selfie snapper.
Both tablets also feature dual stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos Surround Sound support and have a built-in Smart PA for better audio output. While the 10-inch version tuned by Harman Kardon and also packs a fingerprint sensor.
The 8.0-inch version running Android 9.0 Pie – based on Magic UI 2.0, while the 10-inch model is still running old Android 8.0 Oreo with EMUI 8.0 out of the box and both tablets packs a 5100mAh battery. The connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, Micro USB. The 8.0-inch model measuring 204.2 x 122.2 x 8.2mm and weighs 310 grams, while the 10-inch model dimensions are 243 x 164 x7.8mm and weigh 460 grams.
