Below is a detailed description of all the additions that will be available in the coming weeks on Ubisoft’s popular For Honor title:

Dedicated Servers: The Ubisoft development team is currently working on a totally new server infrastructure. For Honor can count on the implementation of dedicated servers, but the team will continue to improve peer-to-peer and matchmaking stability.

Two New Seasons: In August and November, For Honor will receive new seasonal updates, introducing several enhancements to how players fight on the battlefield. The content of each season includes new heroes, maps, equipment, gameplay updates, and more. In addition, all Season Pass holders will be able to access first to the new heroes available during the season.

New modes: For Honor will compete with duel tournaments and 4v4 classified games as well as a new 4v4 PvP game mode.

New training mode: New players and veterans will also count on a complete training mode that will sharpen their skills before facing the battlefield.

Global Balance Updates: For Honor will also receive further changes aimed at balancing heroes and game modes, some of which will improve elements of the combat system, making the attacks more profitable and putting more pressure on defense. All changes will be tested through a PC.

Commenting on the announcement, Roman Campos-Oriola, Creative Director of For Honor, said: “Since launch, we’ve had more than 12 updates to fix some issues we might encounter, but mainly to improve the experience for the player. Every week, we add new content. We’ve had a new season with new maps and new Heroes, and we are constantly updating the balancing of the game to improve things like progression– we’ve increased how much Steel players gain, how much XP they get at the end of each match, etc. There’s also fight balancing, where we’ve improved the balance between the Heroes. We’ve made a lot of modifications to the characters and even game modes.”
