Huawei has officially launched their fitness watch with a sleep monitoring and Pedometer function named Honor Band Z1. This Smart watch was originally announced back in July 2015 under the name of Huawei Honor Band Zero. The Huawei Honor Band Z1 is now officially available in India, it has been priced at Rs. 5,499 only on Flipkart online shop and will be available in Black, Beige and White color strap variant.
Honor Band Z1, the main highlight of the device that there is not any physical buttons, all with touch controls. Band Z1 design supposedly inspired from “Scandinavian Aesthetics’, look very fashionable and has a circular design with a metal casing. This wearable device will feature an IP68 certification same as other devices. It is water-resistant up to a depth of 1.5 m as well as dust resistant.
For applications, this device also features tracking functions such as physical activity of the users, counting steps, calories burned, monitoring sleep, display calendar events and other notifications. It features a 1.06-inch OLED display with (128 x 128 pixels resolution. It is powered by Cortex M4 STM32F411 processor and packs a 70mAh battery that can be promised to last around 3 days.
This new Huawei wearable device worked with both Android and iOS operating system. The round monochrome screen can display the time notification of incoming calls and received the SMS-message. For connectivity, includes Bluetooth 4.1 support to interact with other devices.
