Honor 7S is the new budget smartphone unveiled by the famous leakster Roland Quandt, a smartphone that should reach the European market as the entry-level device of the Honor series.
As it is easy to notice that the device has great similarities with the European variant of the Honor 7A, which resumes its appearance and some main features. The similarity between the two handsets is not accidental since Quandt has announced that Honor 7S could be marketed as a basic variant of Honor 7A – therefore with the same brand – in some specific European markets.
The differences compared to 7A, there will be a lack of the fingerprint scanner, probably replaced by face unlock, the chipset is 1.5GHz MediaTek MT6739 quad-core SoC instead of Snapdragon 430, a slightly smaller display of 5.45-inches and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera in place of the 8-megapixel camera.
According to rumors, the smartphone will be available in the coming weeks (the screen show the date of June 30) in Black and Gold color options at a price of less than EUR 150 – approximately $179.
