After the pre-orders listing of the Huawei P30, P30 Pro and P30 Lite in USA, Huawei’s Honor brand launched the Honor 20i smartphone in China. It is mid-range device comes with a 6.21-inch drop notch display, up to 6GB RAM, Triple Rear Cameras and fingerprint sensor.
Honor 20i Price and Availability
The Honor 20i price in China starts from CNY 1,599 – approximately $239 for the 4GB RAM with 128GB storage versions or 6GB RAM with 64GB storage version, while the 6GB RAM with 128GB storage version costs CNY 1,899 – approximately $284 and the CNY 2,199 – approximately $328 for the 6GB RAM with 256GB storage model. The device will go on sale in China starting tomorrow, April 18th and comes in Gradient Blue, Gradient Red and Midnight Black color options.
The company also introduced the Honor 20i AAPE x Special edition for the same price as the 6GB + 256GB versions and it will be available in May.
Honor 20i Specifications
The Honor 20i features a 6.21-inch 2.5D curved glass Waterdrop notch display with FHD+ (2340 x 1080 pixels) resolution, 19:5:9 aspect ratio, and about 90% screen-to-body ratio. It is powered by a 1.8 GHz octa-core processor which supported by Kirin 710 12nm Mobile Platform with ARM Mali-G51 MP4 and 4GB/6GB of RAM. It packs a 64GB / 128GB / 256GB of inbuilt storage which can be expanded via microSD card up to 512GB.
On the camera front, the 20i bears a 24-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, f/1.8 aperture, along with a 2-megapixel secondary camera for portrait shots and 8-megapixel 120° ultra wide-angle lens For selfie, there is a 32-megapixel front-facing camera with AI beautify features.
The Honor 20i has a gradient back made using 3D lithography technology and a fingerprint sensor on it. The handset runs on Android 9 Pie -based on EMUI 9.0 out of the box. It packs a 3400mAh battery and supports hybrid SIM slot with dual standby. For connectivity includes 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 4.2 LE, GPS + GLONASS, micro USB. The device measures 154.8×73.64×7.95mm and weigh 164 grams.
