The Homtom HT16 Pro has been launched worldwide, making it another affordable 4G LTE-powered Homtom phones with dual SIM functionality. While the new HT16 Pro looks exactly the same as the original Homtom HT16 model, there are several new features under the hood that it offers. Apart from the new processor, the HT16 Pro includes the new bumped rear camera, upgraded RAM, along with high storage, and 4G LTE connectivity.

Connectivity & Processor
One of the biggest differences between the Homtom HT16 Pro and Homtom HT16 is in terms of connectivity band and processor. To recall, the HT16 has only 3G connectivity while the HT16 Pro comes with 4G LTE, HT16 came powered with quad-core MediaTek MT6580 coupled with Mali-400 MP GPU and 1GB of RAM. The all-new Homtom HT16 Pro packs the upgraded quad-core MediaTek MT6737 SoC coupled with Mali-T720 and 2GB of RAM.
Storage & Camera
One of the biggest qualms with the HT16 was the limited 8GB inbuilt storage, while the HT16 Pro comes in 64GB of native storage, and both models supports external microSD card up to 64GB to add more memory. On the camera front, both Homtom smartphones packs the same 2-megapixel front-facing camera for selfie and video calling, but the Chinese company has bumped up the rear camera on the HT16 Pro. It ships with an 8-megapixel rear autofocus camera with LED flash.

The Homtom HT16 Pro has been priced at $69.99, a mere $10 more than what the HT16 costs. It will be also available in Blue, White and Black color variants.
