Google Pixel 3 Lite, Pixel 3 XL Lite Coming in Spring 2019 with Verizon | Rumor

Google Pixel 3 Lite and Pixel 3 XL Lite will arrive in spring 2019, marketed by the US telephone operator Verizon. This is reported by Android Police on the basis of information provided by an unspecified well-informed source on the Mountain View home roadmap. For the official news, we will necessarily have to wait a few more months, although the two devices have long been rumored.

Google Pixel 3 Lite and Pixel 3 XL Lite

The Google Pixel 3 Lite variants will mark the return of Google smartphones in the mid-budget segment, after the commercialization of the Nexus 5X in 2015. Even if the prospect of the technical features is not yet complete – especially with regard to the XL variant – previous rumors they have outlined the contours by citing a platform based on Snapdragon 670 SoC, 4GB of RAM and 32GB of storage.

As with the older brothers, the discriminating between the XL and the ‘standard’ variants will be represented by the display sizes, 6-inch, and 5.5-inch respectively, while the design will be similar for both. To complete the equipment will include a 12MP rear camera along with an 8MP selfie shooter. You should not miss the 3.5mm audio jack.

What the Android Police report does not make clear regards the price of the two models; it is only possible to make vague predictions based on the numbers required for the older brothers: it wouldn’t be surprising, if the Lite variants sit in the $400-500 range.

Both devices might get the same camera optics as the original Pixel 3 series, but with inferior performance, and far more limited storage. Externally, the Pixel 3 Lite looks very similar to the regular Pixel 3, display with 18:9 aspect ratio. The fingerprint sensor is present on the rear along with the primary camera and packs a plastic build.
