Gionee W909 and Gionee S8 with Helio P10 SoC Launched in China

Gionee Mobile Phone, expanding its smartphone line-up China by presenting new luxury styled Gionee W909 Flip phone and Premium Gionee S8. Both the devices pack in high-end specifications and will be targeted towards the premium segment customers. The Gionee W909 has been priced at 3,999 Yuan – approximately $616 USD and the other one Gionee S8 price is around 2,599 Yuan – approximately $400 USD.

Gionee W909 Specifications:

The Gionee W909 features a 4.2-inch IPS display, HD resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels with a higher pixel density of 349ppi. The handset comes with a MediaTek Helio P10 octa-core processor clubbed with Mali-T860 GPU, 4GB of RAM, internal memory of 64GB and also expandable via MicroSD card up to 128GB. The phone enabled with 16-megapixel primary camera with dual tone LED flash provides high quality pictures and has a 5-megapixel front-facing camera for selfie and video calling.

The W909 runs Android 5.1.1 Lollipop OS and has 2530mAh battery capacity with a decent backup that can rated to deliver a talk-time up to 30 hours and standby time up to 408 hours.
