Gionee P5L 2016 with VoLTE and 13MP Camera Launched in India

Gionee P5L 2016 Edition has been quietly launched in India. It is the latest affordable smartphone device from the company which is said to be an upgraded variant of the Gionee P5L was launched back in 2014 in India. The Gionee Pioneer P5L 2016 is available in  Black, Blue, Gold, Red, White, and Yellow color variant and has been priced at Rs 8,499.

The Gionee P5L 2016 sports a 5.0-inch IPS On-cell display with HD (720 x 1280 pixels) resolution, (4.7-inch FWVGA display on Gionee P5L 2014). It is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core processor along with 1GB of RAM same as a previous model. The device packs in more 16GB of internal memory which is expandable up to 128GB with the help of microSD card slot.

On the camera front, the P5L 2016 has upgraded to an 8-megapixel autofocus primary camera on the back with LED flash. It shoots Full HD 1080p videos. It has a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with to capture decent selfies and video calling.

The P5L 2016 equipped with a 4G LTE as well as voice over VoLTE that offer HD sound with more clarity. It runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop with Gionee’s own Amigo 3.1 UI interface on top. It packs a 2300mAh battery which offers up to 9 hours of talk time and up to 300 hours of standby time on 3G network.

It sports a dual SIM card slot on board along with 4G VoLTE connectivity, apart from 4G includes 3G, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, A-GPS, Bluetooth 4.0, micro-USB 2.0, 3.5 mm audio jack and FM Radio connectivity options.
