Gionee M7 Plus With 6.43-inch 18:9 Display, Dual Camera, Leather Back Announced

Gionee M7 Plus has been officially launched at its winter event in China, along with five new Gionee phones. This new Gionee phone is made with a combination of aluminum and leather, houses with a dual rear camera module and LED flash. Gionee M7 Plus price in China is CNY 4,399 – approximately $666 and it come in Gold with Blue color option. It will go on sale from January 2018 in China.

The Gionee M7 Plus features a dual security encryption chip that can be used to encrypt contacts, photos, and messages if you want. It comes with a live fingerprint ID scanner, which is capable of checking for a “live” fingerprint by looking at things like blood flow. The handset comes with a leather finish on the back that’s been treated with a 105-step process with quality on par with various luxury brands. The frame is made out of stainless steel with 21K gold coating.

The AMOLED display is 6.43-inches with full-HD+ (2160 × 1080 pixels) resolution and 18:9 FullView 2.5D curved glass on top of it. It is powered by a 2.2 GHz octa-core processor which supported by 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 14nm chipset clubbed with Adreno 512 GPU and 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM. It packs a 64GB / 128GB of inbuilt storage which can be expanded via microSD card up to 256GB.

On the camera front, the M7 Plus flaunts a dual rear camera setup: a 16-megapixel camera sensor with f/1.8 aperture, dual-tone LED flash and an 8-megapixels secondary camera. It has an 8-megapixel front-facing camera for selfie and video calling. The device measures 166.5 x 81.6 x 8.7mm and weighs 241 grams.

The Gionee mobiles handset runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat -based on Amigo OS 5.0 out of the box. It packs a 5000mAh battery with fast charging and 10W wireless charging. It supports dual SIM slot with dual standby, For connectivity includes 4G VoLTE, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac (2.4 + 5GHz), GPS, A-GPS, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC and 3.5 mm audio jack options.
