Gigabyte launches the AERO 15 OLED notebook at Computex 2019, a new variant of the model presented last April at the launch of the 9th gen Intel Core H processor.
A distinctive feature of this new version is the Samsung’s 15.6-inch OLED 4K display, a feature that makes this configuration ideal for creators and anyone looking for a certain image quality. The Samsung panel boasts a 1ms response time, 100% DCI-P3 coverage in addition to X-Rite Pantone and HDR400 certifications.
Like the Classic variant announced in April, AERO 15 OLED also uses All Intel Inside technology, using 9th Gen Core H, 760p SSD, and LAN / WiFi6 Killer processors; there also support for the Microsoft Azure AI platform.
The technical features and the design are practically unchanged and provide options for Intel Core i7-9750H or Core i9-9980HK processors, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 or RTX 2070 Max graphics Q Design, Samsung DDR4 2666, dual M.2 PCIe SSD slot and Thunderbolt 3 / USB 3.1 gen 2 connectivity.
Gigabyte has not announced the price of this new AERO 15 OLED version, probably more expensive than the AERO 15 Classic non-OLED variant; Gigabyte has finally anticipated that it is working on a 17-inch version (AERO 17), based on the Intel Core i9 platform and expected for the third quarter of the year.
