Garmin announced the Virb 360 spherical camera comes with a compact and rugged design. New Garmin 360-degree camera is capable of recording video up to 5.7K at 30fps stabilized by Spherical Stabilization. The Garmin Virb 360 has GPS and water resistant, making it the ideal companion for adventurous trips.

The Virb 360 provides owners with customizable G-Metrix data overlays in a captivating 360-degree augmented reality setting. The device uses its official Virb Mobile app works on both Android and iOS as well as computer software to edit, stabilize, share and add data overlays to any contents.

Commenting on the launch, Dan Bartel, Garmin vice president of global consumer sales, said: “The VIRB 360 lets you relive personal experiences and share them with your friends – from a different point of view, every single time,” “VIRB 360 owners will no longer need to worry about trying to capture the perfect angle or setting up the perfect shot. The camera’s easy-to-use feature set will make even the most inexperienced users look like experts.”

The Garmin Action Cam offers a rechargeable, one-hour battery life while recording. Beyond video, the device can capture 15-megapixel spherical images along with various Photo modes include single capture, burst shooting, and time lapse. Additionally, the camera is equipped with a sunlight-readable display for users to identify battery life, storage capacity, and video modes.

The Garmin Virb 360 price is $799.99, it can be purchased via Amazon store in US with expected availability in June.
