Fujitsu has launched the Stylistic R727 tablet that features a detachable keyboard. The keyboard of the Fujitsu Stylistic R727 comes with a magnetic dock connector that attaches the tablet to turn into a display for the laptop and may also includes backlit keys.
The Stylistic R727 comes with a 12.5-inch PLS (Plane to Line Switching) display with full-HD (1920×1080 pixels) resolution. It has an Anti-glare display, and durable yet thin & light magnesium-aluminum housing that also flexible enough to stand vary angles.
It is powered by a sixth-generation Intel Kaby Lake processor and will be available in three different options including dual Core i3-7100U (2.4 GHz), Core i5-7200U (2.5- 3.1 GHz) and Core i7-7500U (2.7-3.5 GHz) processors with Intel HD 620 graphics and RAM capacity starting from 4GB to 16GB.
It runs Windows 10 Pro. The Stylistic R727 includes a SSD SATA III M.2 range from 128GB to 512GB. The company claims that the tablet can deliver up to 10 hours of battery life without a keyboard and up to 9 hours with a keyboard.
Connectivity options on the Fujitsu tablet include Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC8265, dual band WLAN, 4G/LTE, Bluetooth 4.1 LE, NFC options and for ports, including 1 x DC-in, 1 x combo Audio / microphone, 1 x combo Audio / headphone, 2 x Internal microphones, 1 x USB 3.0, 1 x VGA, 1 x HDMI, 1 x mini DisplayPort, 1 x Ethernet (RJ-45), 1 x Docking connector for Port Replicator, 1 x SIM card slot (optional), 1 x SD card slot.
The tablet features a 2-megapixel front-facing camera for video calling and a 5-megapixel rear camera with autofocus. It also comes with two built-in stereo speakers and two digital array microphones as well. It comes with a cradle to attach peripherals in the office or switch to a full desktop-like experience in no time. It measures 319 x 9.5 x 201 mm and weighs 830g tablet only or 1170g with keyboard.
Fujitsu has not announced pricing and availability details of the Fujitsu Stylistic R727, yet.
