The Fujifilm X Pro 2 will be a formidable opponent for Mirrorless manufacturers this year. So what is new in the device? new Hardware, more powerful camera is equipped with completely new 24.2-megapixel APS-C X-Trans CMOS III Sensor. X-Pro2’s X-Trans technology is randomized pixel array to afford a high degree of sharpness and accurate color reproduction along with just 0.4 seconds bootable time, shutter lag time is only 0.05 seconds, the fastest AF speed of up to 0.06s and up to 8 fps continuous shooting speed with full-time motion predictive AF for tracking fast-moving subjects while shooting.

In addition, X-Pro2 is Fujifilm’s first device that can capture compressed RAW images in order to save memory capacity and also helps to expedite file transferring for longer continuous burst shooting. Fujifilm has designed a completely new line of image processing chip named X-Processor Pro with high performance along with a high expanded built-in sensitivity range up to ISO 12800 that can be expanded to ISO 51200.Fujifilm X-Pro2 Price

The X-Pro2 focus system also be upgraded with 273 points, of which 77 are phase-detection points for faster performance that is beneficial to photographing moving subjects. X-Pro2 is the first Fujifilm cameras have fast shutter speeds up to 1/8000 sec. (previously limited to 1/4000). Camera is equipped with WiFi connectivity as the recent high-end devices with remote control capability via smartphones.

Fujifilm has changed the overall design of the Fuji X Pro 2 to a slightly smaller size than X-Pro1 and sealed in more than 61 places to protect against dust, moisture, and cold temperatures down to 14°F. Looking at the front, we could see quite embossed handle, easy to grip than the older version and Fujifilm have equipped a parameter adjustment wheel on the front along with functional button and an adjustable wheel. The back of the device, there are lots of changes in the button compared to the predecessor such as AE-L and AF-L button now separated. AE-L button switched next to the View Mode. The buttons on the left screen on the X-Pro1 has moved out to the right side. The Fuji X Pro 2 uses advanced Hybrid Multi Viewfinder which lets you select from OVF as well as the EVF. It has 3.0-inch LCD screen with a resolution of 1.62 million pixels. On the memory card slot, X-Pro2 is the first camera from Fujifilm has two SD card slots.

Fujifilm X-Pro2 price around $1,699.95 only for camera body and available for pre-order on Amazon and B&Hphotovideo store, it will be released on February 28, 2016.
