Fujifilm X-A3 Price, Specifications and More

Fujifilm on Thursday officially announced the X-A3 mirrorless camera in the mid-range segment that comes with fully automatic mode, specialized in selfie shooting with 180-degree flip screen and 24MP high-resolution sensor. In terms of looks, this camera has quite fashionable design when it comes in three different colors including Pink, Brown and Silver. 

In order to focus on capturing selfie, this Fujifim camera can rotate the tilting LCD upward by 180 degrees activates the Eye Detection AF to automatically adjust the focus on the subject’s eyes. When taking self portraits, focusing and releasing of the shutter can be done by pressing the vertical command dial which locates directly below your index finger, which minimizes camera shake.

Fujifilm said the rear LCD employs the slide-and-tilt mechanism so that it is not blocked by the camera body when tilted by 180 degrees to maintain 100% visibility. You can view the entire screen for precise composition when compared to regular tilt display.

Unlike its predecessors or X-Pro XT with X-Trans sensor, XA line is equipped with a traditional 24.2 megapixel APS-C sensor, ISO range extends from 200-6400 and can be expanded up to 100- 25.600. The heart of the Fuji X-A3 is the EXR Processor II which is equipped on the X-T1, so that means the device can boot fast in 0.05 seconds, 0.3 seconds focus speed and shutter lag time is 0.05 seconds. 

The Fujifilm X-A3 can focus faster than the previous generation when its autofocus system offers 49 points in single AF mode and 77 points in the wide/tracking modes. There is no on-sensor phase detection but of course we cannot ask too much at this price.

This compact mirrorless camera comes with 11 film simulations and 10 advanced filters, in addition to basic filters, also adds a new film simulation modes such as Pro Neg.Hi, Neg.Std Pro, and Classic Chrome. Of course, we will lack Across film simulation, which is only available on high-end lines such as X-T2 or X-Pro2.

It can shoot Full-HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) video at 60fps, the Fujifilm X-A3 price is quite affordable $599.95 USD with XC16-50mm F3.5-5.6 II Lens Kit and can be pre-ordered via Amazon.com, and will be released on October 2, 2016.
