Fortnite: 2 Million Downloads Crossed on Nintendo Switch in 24 Hours

Fortnite seems to be an unstoppable phenomenon. Just after 24 hours of his debut on Nintendo Switch – accompanied by some controversy against Sony for his strong opposition to crossplay – the Epic Battle Royale has recorded as many as 2 million downloads.

To give us news of this milestone was none other than Reggie Fils-Aime, the President of Nintendo of America. At Polygon’s microphones, Fils-Aime stressed the importance of the game and the prompt reaction of the users to the possibility of playing the title in any situation, thanks to the intrinsic qualities of Switch.

A porting has also been positively welcomed by critics; none of the graphics downsized compared to rival consoles. Fortnite on Switch offers a complete gaming experience with much higher quality graphics than what is offered by the mobile version, especially thanks to the presence of physical checks. This allows players on the Nintendo platform to play on equal terms with Xbox One, while PCs will continue to benefit from the presence of a mouse and keyboard.

Therefore, it seems that the Epic title enjoys enviable health, also in light of the statements reported that testify to the presence of as many as 125 million users spread across all platforms. A very important milestone that places Fortnite on the throne of Battle Royale.
