The Focal brand from French announced the new Clear headphones, a product that is explicitly targeted at music enthusiasts and is also positioned on a high-end segment.
The Focal Clear Headphones are made with an aluminum frame and a leather headband. The interior of the band and earcups features a microfiber fabric, reason for choosing this material is that it does not allow sweating and make your longer listening sessions more enjoyable. The 20mm memory foam ear cushion also covered with this fabric. Headphones measure 250 x 220 x 120 mm and weighs 450 grams.
The Focal Clear Circum-aural open-back Headphones and uses full-range speaker driver with an ‘M’-shape Aluminum/Magnesium dome. This provides remarkable dynamics over the entire audio spectrum; bass that is always controlled, even at high volumes. The technical specifications report a frequency response of 5Hz to 28kHz, a sensitivity of 104dB and a 55ohm impedance.
The kit includes a hard-shell carrying case, 3m balanced cable, 3m unbalanced cable, 1.2m unbalanced cable and 1/8″ jack to 1/4″ stereo jack adapter.
The Focal Clear Headphones has been priced at around EUR 1500 and availability is expected to start from this month.
