Eurocom Tornado F5 Gaming Laptop with GTX 1080 and 64GB RAM Announced

If the current lineup of high-end gaming laptops in the market isn’t cutting it for you, Eurocom’s new offering may interest you. The Canadian computer manufacturer has launched an unlocked BIOS Tornado F5 laptop, a high-performance laptop upgrade to its already impressive NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 graphics and Intel Core i7-7700K processor. Much like many other good things in life, the laptop also has a big price tag on Amazon.com, with a starting price point of $1,732.

The Eurocom Tornado F5 is equipped to take full advantage of the overclock-ability of the desktop Kaby Lake processors due to their high-quality copper heatsinks, high-speed fans, and use of Innovation Cooling Diamond 24 carat diamond thermal compound to manage the temperature of the desktop processor. It is powered by an Intel Core i7 7700K processor and Intel Z170 Express ‘Skylake’ chipset. Users have the option to opt for Intel Core i5 or Core i3 processor.

As for the GPU, the Tornado F5 comes with NVIDIA GeForce: GTX 1080, 1070, 1060, 980M, 970M or 965M graphics – discrete GPU only. As for the memory, it goes up to 64GB of DDR4 RAM. The Tornado F5 comes equipped with a 15.6-inch 4K (3840×2160 pixels) display. Users can also opt for a display with full-HD (1920×1080 pixels) screen resolution.

On the connectivity front, this Eurocom laptop has one USB 3.1 Type-C port with Thunderbolt 3, three USB 3.0 ports, a pair of Mini Display ports that can power up to four monitors, an HDMI outlet, one headphone, one mic, one RS45 port, and supports Wi-Fi. It also comes with up to 8TB of SSD storage in a RAID configuration.
