Looking for Premium headphones? There are a lot of different types of headphones available. Today, we’re looking at in-ear headphones with Detachable cable – the Dunu Titan 5 Hi-Res Headphones, these are the smallest, easiest to store and carry, easiest to wear and are usually also the budget segment Premium headphones you can buy.
DUNU was originally an OEM/ODM manufacturer established in 1994, located in Dong Guan City, Guangdong, China. The company mainly focuses on development, manufacture and marketing professional earphone and ear bud products. And now it’s become one of worldwide famous earphone manufacturer and has the capability to develop driver units.
Dunu was first introduced Dunu Titan 1, and then Titan 3 and Titan 5 with a detachable cable and premium steel housing. Both these headsets combined a similar design and 13mm balanced Titanium Drivers. The Dunu Titan 3 price is about $139 USD, which is no small price to pay, but it is the surest way to in-ear audiophile-grade sonic performance. It’s available now through Amazon.com.
The Dunu Titan 5 uses Titanium 13mm dynamic driver, frequency response ranges from 10Hz-40KHz, while sensitivity measures in at 108dB. The standard-length 1.2m cable is soft silicone and looks very secure. The earphones themselves are detachable from the cable using MMCX connectors. The Titan 5 is purely a pair of earphones, and does not have a microphone or in-line remote controls.
Impedance is also on the high side, at 33Ohms. This allows the Titan 5 to go soft when connected to MP3 players, portable media players, smartphones or tablets.
The Platinum casings made of metal, the shape and design of the metal parts of the casings not much odd, and the number 5 logos on top in black color looks great. On taking off the jack, the golden 3.5mm jack looks classy and completely contrasted with the casing, and build quality is also excellent.
Included in the package are a solid plastic carry-box, a 3.5mm to 6.3mm audio adapter, a total of 6 pairs of silicon ear tips, and shirt clip. Although that might seem like a lot of accessories, this variety of add-ons is common and expected at this price level.
