DJI has released a new firmware update for its DJI Phantom 4 (out of production for some time), the first famous model of the Chinese company to introduce obstacle detection sensors, a drone that has contributed significantly to the commercial success of the brand to the damage of the main competitors.
The firmware version v02.00.0700 is available from a couple of days as reported on the official forum and is compatible with the versions of DJI GO 4 v4.1.22 for Android and iOS. These are the news, as reported by the release notes:
- Optimized GEO Zone management.
- Optimized aircraft performance to improve stability during flight.
- Fixed an issue that occasionally caused the camera to restart during video recording.
Last note, DJI recently informed the media about a compatibility issue with iOS 11.2.5, which hits the app versions DJI GO 3.1.24, DJI GO 3.1.26 and DJI GO 4 4.2.4, in the use of the Phantom 3, Phantom 4 and Inspire 1 drones.
The bug, recognized by the company, does not allow in a few cases the connection between radio control and drone, so the advice is to wait to update while waiting for DJI to publish a corrective update. For now, no information on exact release date, we will update as soon as we know something more.
Wow. It’s cool and useful tricks. Thank u for this nice article
