The beta version will offer to check out The Farm, Destiny 2’s new social space, Assault Cooperative and Competitive Multiplayer. The video also highlights some phases of the game, mixed with non-interactive moments. We invite you to enjoy the video below:

The Destiny 2 beta will include a variety of activities, with support for two competitive modes.
Destiny 2’s opening campaign mission, Homecoming; the cooperative three-player strike The Inverted Spire; and two competitive multiplayer modes, Countdown and Control. In the new mode Countdown, you’ll attack or defend a base on a map custom-built for this new scenario. In Control, an update on the Crucible standby, you’ll attempt to dominate zones on a map built for this objective type.

Players will be able to experiment with three of Destiny 2’s character subclasses: Dawnblade Warlock, Arcstrider Hunter or Sentinel Titan. According to Bungie, the Countdown and Control will be playable on new maps built with those gameplay modes in mind. Control will return “with some impactful changes”.

The open beta will be available on consoles July 21, and the whole thing comes to an end on July 23, while the PC beta begins in August.
