Dell launches a new member of the Inspiron laptop family, namely Inspiron 13 7000 with AMD Ryzen processors.
When AMD launched its Ryzen Mobile processors last October, there were three commercial partners who immediately released new AMD Ryzen-based laptops. Last March, Dell was added to these manufacturers with its Inspiron 17 5000, just in the last few hours, new Dell Inspiron 13 7000 2-in-1 convertible has been announced.
Let’s talk about this new Dell’s 2-in-1 convertible laptop that will be available in two different variants for the integrated processors. In particular, we have a version equipped with AMD Ryzen 5 2500U, coupled with Radeon Vega 8 GPU and a second version that offers AMD Ryzen 7 2700U with Radeon Vega 10 GPU.
Both variants are characterized by the presence of 8GB of DDR4-2400 RAM, which can be expanded up to 16GB, and a 256GB SSD. Both Dell laptops, as easily understood by the name, are equipped with a 13.3-inch display. An IPS backlit LED panel with a glossy finish. Not missing an IR camera that allows us to unlock the laptop through facial recognition and makes the system compatible with the Windows Hello features.
The connectivity includes WiFi 802.11 / ac, Bluetooth 4.2, a USB Type C, 2x USB 3.0 Type A, an HDMI output, webcam, SD card reader and 3.5mm headphone jack. There is also backlit keyboard. All in all, even the size, with a thickness of 19.2 mm and a weight that is around 1.75 kg. The battery capacity is 42Wh and we have no data regarding the battery life.
Dell Inspiron 13 7000 price and availability in the US market, the basic version with Ryzen 5 is offered at a starting price of $699.99 and higher-model with Ryzen 7 has been priced at $849.99 and both variants can be purchased via BestBuy.com in the country.
