Asus has officially dropped the price of ZenWatch 3. Asus ZenWatch 3 price cut in US by $34 on Amazon store, making the wearable available at $194.99. The new price tag of the ZenWatch certainly makes it worth considering.
Amazon store offers $34.01 discount only on the Beige Leather Band version, while the Dark-Brown Leather Band variant also available with a $20 discount at the store. Although Asus launched the ZenWatch 3 at IFA 2016 in three models: the Gunmetal case with a Dark Brown Leather strap; a Silver case and a Beige Rubber strap, and a Gunmetal case and a Brownish Grey Rubber strap.
To recall its specs, Asus has confirmed the Android Wear 2.0 for ZenWatch 3 this week, it features a 1.39-inch Amoled display with a 400×400 pixel resolution, translating to a pixel density of 287ppi. As for fitness features, Asus claims the ZenWatch 3 has a 95 percent accurate step counter with the new ZenFit activity tracking app, and can also track activities like push-ups, running, and sit-ups.
It is powered by the new Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 2100 SoC, the Asus ZenWatch 3 sports 512MB of RAM and 4GB of inbuilt storage. The smartwatch measures 9.95mm in thickness, and the company says the 341mAh battery on board can provide up to two days of charge. The company is touting a fast charging feature called HyperCharge, which will charge the battery to 60 percent in 15 minutes. Asus ZenWatch 3 features a digital crown, a customizable button, and a button that launches the ZenFit activity tracking app. It is compatible with both Android smartphones and iPhones.
