Cubot P12, expected to launch this month and has been listed on its official Cubotmall online store, will available in Black and White color variants with a tag of “out of stock” and without pricing details. It will launch soon in China about to the end of this month, but there is no information on the global roll out yet.
While talking about the Cubot P12 specifications, it features a 5.0-inch IPS display that has HD resolution of 720×1280 pixels which can rated to translate pixel density of 294ppi. It is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6580 64-bit processor along with Mali-400MP GPU. It comes with 1GB of RAM and has 16GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 32GB via microSD card.
The Cubot Cell Phone flaunt a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and autofocus. It shoots Full HD 1080p videos. On the front, there is an 8-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calling. The device runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop OS and packs in a 2200mAh battery under the hood.
It supports Dual SIM functionality along with 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, A-GPS, Bluetooth 4.0, HotKnot, MicroUSB and OTG options. According to page, there is no support for 4G LTE connectivity. The device also features a Smart awake and gesture control, it measures 143.9 x 71.5 x 8.1 mm.
In early of this month, Cubot launched Cubot X17 at $170. The handset comes equipped with a 5.0-inch IPS JDI display, a Full HD resolution of 1920×1080 pixels, 441ppi with 2.5D arc Glass. It is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core 64-bit MediaTek MT6735 processor with Mali-T720 MP2 GPU, a 3GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage.
Cubot X17 feature a 16-megapixel primary camera on the back with dual LED flash and 8-megapixel front shooter for selfies. The handset runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop along with customized UI on top and packs a 2500mAh battery out of the box.
