Chinese multinational Alcatel Cell Phone took the spotlight at CES 2017 to announce new smartphone. The company introduced the A3 XL in its new “A” series into the market. The Alcatel A3 XL comes with Android 7.0 Nougat, 6.0-inch display, 4G LTE and a fingerprint sensor. 
According to the Alcatel Smartphones, “First of a new premium range of affordable mobile devices”, so the Alcatel A3 XL price will be very affordable around $200, and its availability will vary depending upon region. It is set to be available in Asia Pacific, Middle East, Africa and Latin America in the first quarter of 2017. Europe is expected to get the device in the second quarter of 2017.
Coming to the Alcatel A3 XL specifications, the smartphone sports a 6.0-inch IPS LCD display with HD (720×1280 pixel) resolution with 244ppi pixel density. The smartphone is powered by a 1.1 GHz quad-core processor that’s backed by 64-bit MediaTek MT8735B SoC paired with Mali-T720 GPU and 1GB of RAM. It offers 8GB of internal storage that is expandable further via microSD card up to 32GB. 
On the camera front, the A3 XL flaunts an 8-megapixel autofocus camera that support LED flash, and able to record HD (720p) video at 30fps. It comes with a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with front LCD flash to capture bright selfie and video calling. The smartphone packs a 3000mAH battery to provide juice for a day.
The Alcatel A3 XL also comes equipped with a fingerprint sensor that allows the smartphone to be unlocked with one quick tap. It also helps to answer calls, take photos, encrypt documents and quickly access other applications. 
Connectivity options include 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, USB 2.0, and 3.5 mm audio jack. It also supports dual SIM slots, and runs on Android 7.0 Nougat OS out of the box. It measures 165 x 82.5 x 7.9 mm and is available in Grey, White and Gold color options.
