Capcom Brings Monster Hunter Stories to Android, Only in Japan

Capcom brings Monster Hunter Stories on Android smartphones, just a few months after its debut on Nintendo 3DS in USA (priced at $39.99 on Amazon), with a good response from the public, accustomed to a very different gameplay when it comes to this series.

Monster Hunter Stories is considered a spin-off of the classic series, which brings players into a JRPG starting the adventure at Rider Village, a place where heroes compete and fight to become Rider and win the coveted Kizuna Stone, a symbol of the leader of the Village.

The gameplay is very different from the series, as it is not limited to fighting against the fearsome monsters: the player can sneak into the nests of the creatures, steal the eggs, then open them in the stable and raise the creatures that will become real traveling companions.

Nabiru, a kind of feline, will accompany the protagonist in the journey also characterized by meetings with the Childhood Friends, childhood friends of the protagonist, Senpai Rider, Felyne and Melynx, two feline monsters and the old mayor of the village.
