Canon EOS M200 mirrorless camera is the successor to the EOS M100 was released back in August 2017. The key features of the new camera are an APS-C (22.3 x 14.9 mm) CMOS image sensor with a 24.1 megapixels resolution and a Canon DIGIC 8 processor.
The manufacturer notes that this camera allows you to get pictures of a quality that is not available to the smartphone’s camera with their tiny sensors. It is a question of both detailing images, including those taken with the help of telephoto lenses, and of a low noise level in photographs taken with low lighting. The camera uses contrast and phase autofocus. There are a tracking mode and face and eye recognition features. It has a burst speed of 6.1 fps, supports 4K video recording, but only with a frame rate of 24 fps. At resolutions up to Full HD, 30 and 60 fps are available. There is also a time-lapse function available in the 4K video. In addition, individual frames can be extracted from 4K video, saving them as still images.

The built-in flash is effective at distances up to 5m (at ISO 100). The sync speed is 1/200 s. The ability to connect an external flash is missing.
To store data, it has SD, SDHC or SDXC card support (UHS-I support). The camera is equipped with a USB 2.0 port, HDMI video output, IEEE 802.11b / g / n wireless interfaces and Bluetooth 4.2.
