In mid-July, there were rumors about the release of a new Canon mirrorless camera, the announcement was said at the end of August and now Canon on Tuesday has officially announced the EOS M100 which can replace the M10. Canon EOS M100 features Dual Pixel CMOS AF and other useful functions for better photography or someone who simply wants to take their photos or videos to the next level.
Like the previous one, the EOS M100 also comes with a compact body: the dimensions are 108 x 67 x 35 mm and weighs 302 grams. The available colors are two: Black and White. This camera packs a 24.2-megapixel APS-C CMOS sensor and the Canon DIGIC 7 processor. An ISO sensitivity extends from ISO 100 to ISO 25.600 which helps you to capture sharp images, even in low light conditions. It supports up to 4 frames-per-second continuous shooting and up to 6.1 with fixed AF.
The EOS M100 can count up to 49 AF points and packed with Dual Pixel CMOS AF, which enables high-speed focusing for capturing fleeting moments nearly across the entire frame. It comes with an Electronically controlled focal-plane shutter with speed between 1/4000 to 30 seconds. On the rear side of the camera is a 3.0-inch LCD tilt display (180° upwards) with a resolution of 1.04 million points. The screen also comes with a touch support. For video recording, you can get up to Full HD resolution at 60 frames per second and a bitrate of 35 Mbps.
Connectivity includes a USB 2.0, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth with NFC and a micro HDMI output. The EOS M100 accepts SD, SDHC or SDXC (UHS-I) memory cards. The declared battery life is up to 295 shots.

Canon EOS M100 price in USA has been set at $599.99 with the EF-M 15-45mm f/3.5-6.3 IS STM lens and $949.99 with EF-M 15-45mm f/3.5-6.3 IS STM lens and EF-M 55-200mm f/4.5-6.3 IS STM lens. It can be pre-ordered via Amazon.com in two Black and White colors and will be available on October 19, 2017.
