Bose SoundLink Micro Review

Compact, lightweight, well-balanced, waterproof, shockproof, and robust are not yet the most impressive features of the Bose SoundLink Micro Bluetooth Speaker. What we like the most is the impressive sound quality, strong bass, and loud volume, promising to hit many different types of music genres such as EDM, Rock, Jazz, and Lyrical to Hip-hop. Let’s grab more of this mini Bluetooth speaker in our Bose SoundLink Micro review below.

Bose SoundLink Micro Speaker

One thing we like about the Bose SoundLink Micro speaker is that it’s perfect. Actually, most Bose products that we used that rarely gives us the luxurious feeling, but in return, it’s genuine and practically American. We have a high-quality cover that is almost completely outside the speaker, all of which are seamless, firm and reliable.

The speakers are placed under the perforated cover on the front bottom half of the speaker. We have two simple buttons to increase and down the volume; and especially a button to call the virtual assistant in the center. For voice commands, the Bose Micro SoundLink is equipped with a microphone system to receive voice commands, which, of course, supports voice calling.

The back of the Bose SoundLink speaker with a removable rubber strap, which allows us to hook on our backpack, bike, etc. to listen to music while on the road. The rubber strap is quite firm, a grip is extremely strong and easy to fix. However, we personally found it to handle with care, although it is waterproof still there is a risk of dents.

And what impresses us the most in Bose SoundLink Bluetooth Speaker is the volume and bass quality with a balanced equation that this portable speaker brings. With a size that can be said to be extremely small and compact among the Bose portable speakers, but in return, SoundLink Micro still gives the quite good bass and loud volume. Bass with full of strength, strong, depth and of course, is quality assurance, not exposed or encroached on other bands. In fact, the bass quality of the SoundLink Micro is better than the Bose SoundLink Mini 2 and is best in the JBL or B&O range of speakers of the same size.

Bose Wireless Speakers

With the good support of quality bass, Bose SoundLink Micro is capable of playing a wide variety of genres, from EDM, Rock, Hip-hop, lyrical to acoustic, all are well beaten and extremely worthy of its small form. At high volume, SoundLink Micro ensures that music will be played with minimal distortion.

Bose SoundLink Micro is one of the most compact as well as powerful speakers that we have encountered recently. But, we wish we could speak about the same for its battery life too. It has about 3-5 hours of continuous music playback time. If it’s difficult, it looks like a USB-C charging port is better suited to the current era than the current micro USB port.

Bose SoundLink Micro Features

  • Size 38 x 95 mm
  • Weight 290 grams
  • IPX7 standard certification
  • USB-C charging
  • Battery life: 3-5 hours

So, in addition to the poor battery life, the last point we need to add in this Bose SoundLink Micro review is its price about $99 (Buy from Amazon.com), which is a bit high when compared to other same segment wireless Bluetooth speakers.
