Blu announced the 3GB RAM / 32GB inbuilt storage variant of the Vivo 8 smartphone now available for online purchase. The smartphone listed as the Blu Vivo 8L on the Amazon.com, priced at $199.99.
The Blu Vivo 8 was launched back in July. To recall, at the point, the company had only made one variant available for online purchase – 4GB RAM / 64GB inbuilt storage – priced at $299.99. Alongside, Coolpad had launched the 3GB RAM / 32GB inbuilt storage variant at $100 lower price, however, it is available in Black color only.
As we said, Vivo 8L’s announcement is essentially online availability of the latter variant, alongside a price drop. Blu Vivo 8’s 4GB RAM / 64GB storage variant is now available at a reduced price as well – $249.99 on Amazon US store.
The biggest highlight of the Blu Vivo 8L is its camera system. There is a 20-megapixel selfie camera with selfie flash and a 13-megapixel rear autofocus camera sensor accompanied by a dual-LED flash. The other highlight of the smartphone is its large 4000mAh battery with quick charge. It bears a fingerprint sensor on the rear panel that can unlock the device in just 0.2 seconds.
The dual-SIM Blu Vivo 8L runs Android 7.0 Nougat. It sports a 5.3-inch HD (720 x 1080 pixels) display with 2.5D curved glass and a pixel density of 403ppi – the company is also touting the Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection on top of it.
The Vivo 8L is powered by a 64-bit octa-core MediaTek 6753 SoC clocked at 1.3GHz coupled with 3GB of RAM and Mali-T720 GPU. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS/ A-GPS, micro USB 2.0, and a 3.5mm audio jack. The Vivo 8L weighs in at 161 grams and measures 150.5 x 74.4 x 8.0 mm.
