Blu Studio J2 with 5-inch Display, 2MP Front Camera with LED flash Announced

Along with the Blu Studio Mega as the company’s first Android Nougat based smartphone, the Blu has also announced the Studio J2 entry-level smartphone with a metal body, a 5.0-inch display and Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS. The Blu Studio J2 has been also listed on the company’s website with specifications, but a lack of pricing information again.

Blu Studio J2 Specifications

Blu Studio J2 features a 5.0-inch TFT LCD display with FWGA (480 x 854 pixels) resolution that can translate a pixel density of 196ppi. The device comes with metallic paint finish body design as well as a Special Edition with Metal housing black color only. It is powered by a 1.3 GHz dual-core processor which supported by MediaTek MT6580 chipset paired with Mali-400 GPU. It packs in 512MB of RAM and 8GB of inbuilt storage which can be expanded via microSD card up to 64GB.

On the camera front, the Blu Studio J2 flaunts a 5-megapixel primary autofocus camera with LED flash and capture HD (720p) video at 30fps. There is a 2-megapixel front-facing camera with front LED flash to capture stunning selfies and bright video calling.

The handset runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS and a 2000mAh battery out of the box. It supports dual SIM slot with dual standby, For connectivity includes 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, A-GPS, Bluetooth 4.1, microUSB 2.0 and 3.5 mm audio jack options.
