Blu Grand X with 5MP Front Camera with LED flash Unveiled

Blu unveiled the Grand smartphone last year, and later brought the Grand 5.5 HD variant. Now, a new member of this Grand series has been posted on Blu Cell Phone Website, where it is being called Grand X. Unfortunately, there is no word on availability and pricing details of the Blu Grand X. 

Blu Grand X Specifications

The Blu Grand X features a 5.0-inch IPS LCD display with HD (720×1280 pixels) resolution that can convey a pixel density of 294ppi. The smartphone is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core processor that’s backed by the MediaTek MT6580 chipset coupled with Mali-T400 GPU and 1GB of RAM. It comes with 8GB of inbuilt storage, which is further expandable via microSD card up to 32GB.

On the camera front, this Blu Phone sports a 5-megapixel autofocus rear camera with LED flash, while there is a secondary 5-megapixel front-facing camera also with front LED flash and able to record HD (1080p) video at 30fps, which can be considered the highlight of the handset at this price point. The Grand X housing made of all high-grade metal with electrolyzed finish provides an aesthetically pleasing and back top and bottom with textured portion gives it more classic look. 

The dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) based Blu Grand X runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow out-of-the-box. On the connectivity front, the device offers 3G HSPA+, GPS, A-GPS, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Micro-USB, Bluetooth 4.0, and 3.5mm audio jack options. The smartphone packs a 2200mAh battery, it measures 145.8 x 72.9 x 9.05 mm; weighs 165 grams, and will be available Grey, Gold and Rose Gold color options.

Last month, Blu launched the Vivo XL2 smartphone, priced at $159. The Blu Vivo XL2 is dual-SIM smartphone runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow, a 5.5inch HD 2.5D curved Gorilla Glass 3 display, 13MP rear and 8MP front-facing camera. It is powered by a MediaTek 6737T processor; 3GB of RAM; 32GB of inbuilt storage; and packs 3150mAh battery.
