Blu Grand Energy with 4000mAh Battery Unveiled

We saw Blu is quite busy with launching new budget smartphones this year starting with Tank Xtreme 5.0 and 4.0 Rugged Smartphones parallel to the Studio J5 and Vivo XL 2. The company this month has revealed Blu Life One X2 Mini variant, and now the Blu Grand Energy, by listing it on the Blu Cell Phone Website. The Blu Grand Energy and just yesterday unveiled Grand Max apart from sharing a similar design, but quite different in specifications, such as the large 4000mAh battery, dual-SIM card slot support, all metal uni-body, and Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS out of the box.

The Blu Grand Energy features a 5.0-inch IPS LCD display with HD (720×1280 pixels) resolution that is convey a pixel density of 294ppi and 2.5D curved glass layer on top of it. The device is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor which is backed by the MediaTek MT6580 SoC coupled with Mali-400 GPU and 1GB of RAM. On the camera front, this Blu Phone comes with a 5-megapixel rear and front camera; and both accompanied an LED flash to capture bright pictures in low light environment. The rear camera can also able to record HD 1080p video at 30fps. The smartphone weighs 152 grams, and measures 145.7 x 72.8 x 10.9 mm. Connectivity options include 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, A-GPS, Bluetooth 4.0, Micro-USB 2.0, FM radio and 3.5mm audio jack.

As we mentioned, the highlight of the Grand Energy is its large 4000mAh battery, metal body and 5MP front camera with LED flash. Compared to yesterday announced Grand Max smartphone, it features an 8-megapixel camera sensors on the front and the back with LED flash; a 5.5-inch HD display with 2.5D curved glass; a 1.3 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6580 processor; 1GB of RAM, but a 2200mAh battery capacity.
