Blu Grand 5.5 II With Android 7.0 Nougat, Dual Front Speakers Launched

Blu has launched the Grand 5.5 II by listing it on the Blu Cell phone website. While the company still hasn’t provided an official price for the smartphone, but it will be available for purchase via online store soon. The Blu Grand 5.5 II will be available in Gold, Rose Gold, and Black color options.

The biggest highlight of the Grand 5.5 II is its dual front-facing speakers and an 8-megapixel selfie camera with front LED flash. The Android 7.0 Nougat -based Blu phone features a 5.5-inch HD (720×1280 pixels) IPS LCD display that can translate a pixel density of 267ppi and 500 nits brightness.

The Blu Grand 5.5 II is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor that’s backed by the MediaTek MT6580 SoC paired with Mali-400 GPU and 1GB of RAM. There is 16GB of inbuilt storage on board which is further expandable via microSD card up to 64GB.

The dual-SIM handset sports a 13-megapixel rear autofocus camera with LED flash with 1080p video recording at 30fps. There is an 8-megapixel front-facing camera with selfie flash on board as well. Blu Grand 5.5 II also features a rear fingerprint sensor with “SmartActions” feature that lets you open camera from any app or even if the screen is off by just double tap.

The handset comes with a metal frame and an aluminum back cover which makes it durable. The connectivity options on the handset include Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, A-GPS, GPRS/ EDGE, 3G, WiFi, Hotspot and Micro-USB 2.0. The handset is backed by a 2800mAh battery.

Last week, Miami-based retailer Blu cell phones had also shared price of the Blu Studio G3 with a market operating price of $69.99 and it is now available to buy on Amazon online store.

Earlier this month, Blu had launched the Life One X3 with 13MP front-facing camera coupled with LED flash and Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box.
