BLU Grand 5.5 HD With 5.5-Inch Display, 8MP Camera Launched

US-based smartphone vendor BLU has launched its new smartphone, the BLU Grand 5.5 HD. It is now available exclusively via Amazon at $129.99 for the unlocked version. The BLU Grand 5.5 HD smartphone comes with support for 3G with Dual SIM and is compatible with T-Mobile and AT&T networks in the US. 

The biggest highlight of the BLU Grand 5.5 HD is its all metal aluminium uni-body which gives you high end and premium look. The company also adds an 8MP Optical performance camera to capture stills of your every single moment.

This new BLU phone features a 5.5-inch IPS LCD display from SHARP with HD (720 x 1280 pixels) resolution that can convey a pixel density of 267ppi. Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor that is supported by MediaTek MT6580 SoC paired with Mali-400 graphics GPU and 1GB of RAM. The smartphone bears 64GB of native storage, which can be expanded up to 64GB with the help of microSD card.

On the camera front, as we mentioned earlier, this latest BLU mobile offering an 8-megapixel autofocus primary camera with an f/2.4 aperture, and LED flash. It also houses a 5-megapixel front-facing camera for your selfie and video chatting. Rear camera can also record full-HD (1080p) videos at 30fps. The handset also comes with a front built in dual speakers that will give you clear and loud sound.  
The BLU Grand HD runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow and packs a 2500mAh battery that is claimed to lasts for a full day with moderate usage. For connectivity, Blu Cell Phones includes 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, A-GPS, Bluetooth 4.0, microUSB 2.0, FM radio and 3.5 mm audio jack options. It measures 155 x 79 x 9.4 mm and weighs 141 grams.
