Blu Energy X Plus 2 With 8MP Camera, 4900mAh Battery Goes Official

Blu Products appears set to launch a new smartphone in USA, called the Blu Energy X Plus 2. The smartphone has been listed on the Blu Cell Phone Website without price or availability details. The smartphone’s highlight feature is its sleek metal uni-body with 2.5D curved display, 4900mAh battery, and 5MP front camera with LED flash, allowing users to capture stunning and bright selfies.

Blu Energy X Plus 2 Specifications

The dual-SIM Energy X Plus 2 runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS out of the box, and is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor that’s backed by MediaTek 6580 chipset coupled with Mali-400 GPU. The smartphone sports a 5.5-inch HD (720 x 1280 pixels) BLU Infinite View IPS display that can translate a pixel density of 267ppi and 2.5D Curved Glass protection on top of it.

The Blu Energy X Plus 2 is equipped with an 8-megapixel rear autofocus camera with a LED flash module, and f/2.4 aperture. For selfie-lovers, the smartphone has a 5-megapixel camera with a front flash module. You can also record HD (1080p) videos at 30fps through the cameras, with a number of additional camera functions as well.

The Blu Phone comes with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of inbuilt storage, which is expandable up to 64GB with the help of microSD card. Apart from 4G LTE and 3G network technologies, you get GPS, A-GPS, Bluetooth v4.0, Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g/n), FM radio, USB 2.0, 3.5mm audio jack for connectivity options. The Energy X Plus 2 packs 4900mAh battery with 5V/2A Quick Charge supports and is rated to deliver up to 3 days of moderate usage time, and up to 30 days of standby time.

Last month, the Blu Cell Phones company announced the Blu Life One X2 smartphone, priced at $149.99 for 4GB RAM + 64GB ROM variant and $149.99 for 2GB RAM + 16GB ROM option. It can be pre-ordered via Amazon.com currently is available in Grey color variant. The retailer will start shipping them from October 7, 2016.
