Laser projectors with a laser light source are progressively spreading. Initially, this type of product was reserved for the high band and the costs were therefore quite high. The progressive low-cost production is now also leading to lower prices. This is the case for the all new BenQ LH702 laser projector, a DLP with Full HD resolution.
The details leaked on this model are not many. For example, the type of DLP chip used is unknown, although we think it will almost certainly be 0.65″. LH702 guarantees a brightness of 5,000 lumens and a contrast ratio of 20,000:1. It has 1.5x zoom capabilities and the presence of lens-shift, ie the ability to translate the image along the vertical or horizontal axes without moving the projector.
BenQ LH702 laser projector will be available in Europe starting from November with a price tag of €3,499 – approximately $4104
