BenQ launches EX2780Q 144hz Gaming Monitor With Certified DisplayHDR 400

BenQ EX2780Q is a new 144hz Gaming Monitor for gamers that comes with a 27-inch IPS LCD panel that has WQHD (2560 x 1440 pixels) resolution. The refresh rate is fixed at 144 Hz with support for AMD FreeSync. The specifications show a response time of 5 ms (GtG, from gray to gray), a viewing angle of 178° along both axes and a native contrast ratio of 1000:1.

BenQ also speaks of 10-bit color depth and a 350 cd / m2 – nits brightness. Regarding the extended color spaces, a 95% coverage is declared for the DCI-P3. The EX2780Q 4K gaming monitor is also compatible with HDR video and is DisplayHDR 400 certified. In the high dynamic range, you can also use HDRi, a function that adjusts settings to improve visibility even in the darkest areas of the image.

In SDR (Standard Dynamic Range) a similar result can be obtained with Black eQualizer. Color Vibrance instead allows you to adjust the colors to adapt them to the specific needs of different types of games. With Brightness Intelligence Plus Technology, you can automatically adjust the brightness and color temperature of the PC gaming monitor based on the ambient light.

This portable gaming monitor also includes Low Blue Light and Flicker-Free modes, both designed to improve visual comfort. As for ergonomics, we find a table stand that can be tilted from -5° to + 15°. All gaming pc monitor settings can be changed using the supplied remote control. The audio is entrusted to the TreVolo 2.1 system, consisting of 2 speakers of 2W each and a 5W subwoofer.
