After the launch of the TK850 4K projector, BenQ extends its micro projector portfolio with the BenQ GS2 projectors for home theater. The portable pocket projector has a variety of uses, both at home and on the go. Thanks to its easy handling and simple plug and play, the GS2 is suitable for young and old. In addition, it is protected against falls and splashes, making it the ideal entertainment device for all outdoor activities, from projector home, garden parties to camping holidays.

The GS2 wireless projector can be set up in a few seconds and is easy to use for everyone. With the BenQ Smart Control app, which can be downloaded as a free app on the smartphone, the operation of the GS2 is easy. In addition, a protective mechanism is integrated into the all-rounder, which switches off the projection light as soon as someone is in front of the lens. The data transfer between the source and the Benq projector can be done either via Bluetooth, via WLAN via the included BenQ Wireless Dongle WDR02U or via the USB-C connection. BenQ’s WDR02U is a 2-in-1 USB Wi-Fi adapter with Bluetooth 4.0. It supports dual-band and Wi-Fi networks according to the 802.11ac standard for transmission speeds of up to 300 Mbit/s at 2.4GHz or 867 Mbit/s at 5GHz. The pre-installed Aptoide TV Marketplace offers numerous options for using streaming services. In addition, the GS2 has the Wireless Mirroring function, with which screen contents can be easily transferred from mobile phones, tablets, Macs or PCs. The integrated 2x 2-watt speakers of the GS2 provide the appropriate sound and also work as Bluetooth speakers.
