Bang & Olufsen Beoplay H9 headphones with an Active Noise Cancellation Announced

Last year, the Danish company – Bang & Olufsen had released a BeoPlay H7 wireless headset, which replaced the popular BeoPlay H6. BeoPlay H7 was no less successful, but there was one drawback is the lack of active noise cancellation. To fix this, Bang & Olufsen has decided to release a new wireless over-ear headphones – Beoplay H9, which looks no different from BeoPlay H7. Moreover, the specifications are also quite identical. 

The Bang & Olufsen Headphones are also Bluetooth-enabled, letting you wirelessly connect to smartphones and other devices for a more convenient listening experience. The Beo Play H9 will takes on other player in the same market segment such as the MDR-1000X or Bose QC35, which are currently popular noise-cancellation headset and also features Bluetooth connectivity.

The Bang & Olufsen Beoplay H9 headset features a lightweight design, soft lambskin and adaptive memory foam ear-padding for enhanced comfort. The detachable 1.5m cable is braided for sturdiness and also comes with microphone and one touch remote to control music and calls on a connected smartphone. The headset features active noise cancellation technology and a noise-isolating around-ear fit for passive noise cancellation.

The active noise cancellation functionality does of course require power to run, and the Beo play H9 headphones have a claimed 14-hour battery life when using Bluetooth and active noise-cancellation, and come with an included 3.5mm audio cable for wired connectivity, flight adapter and a carry case. New Bang and Olufsen Wireless Headphones are powered by 40mm drivers, and has a frequency response range of 20-22,000Hz, thereby meeting requirements of the high-resolution audio standard. Noise-cancellation can be switched on or off, and features Bluetooth 4.2 LE for quick connectivity to source devices. 

The Bang & Olufsen Beoplay H9 headphones are available in Black and Argilla Grey color options, priced at $499 and it can be pre-ordered on Amazon USA store starting today.
