Aurora Aperture Inc. announced the next-generation rear mount filters for ultra-wide-angle lenses from Canon, Nikon, Sigma, and Sony. The new Aurora Aperture adapter system is designed to use filters with many popular lenses, including those that do not have a front thread for installing filters.
In 2017, Aurora Aperture released rear mount filters for the Canon EF 11-24mm F4L USM lens. The new Aurora filters also include other new features: it uses a magnetic quick-detachable structure, which makes it easy to mount and remove the filter from the lens. The PFPE-based nano coating associated with the Adapter Mount Filter provides an additional layer that allows for more efficient cleaning when its surfaces come in contact with dust, dirt, water, or oil.
