Asus ZenPad Z8 has been officially announced in USA exclusively via Verizon carrier. Its a latest tablet from the company in ZenPad series, but it comes with a little bit change in design compared to ZenPad S 8.0. Asus ZenPad Z8 price in USA is $249 without contract, while $149.99 with the two-year contract or user can also buy it only for $10.41 up to 24 months. It will be available for pre-orders via Verizon starts from 23 June 2016 and is available in Black and White color options.

The ZenPad Z8 features a 7.9-inch IPS LCD display with QXGA (2048 x 1536 pixels) resolution that can translate a pixel density of 324ppi. Also worth mentioning that it has 178 degree wide viewing angle for better viewing experience. The tablet is powered by a 1.8 GHz hexa-core processor which fueled by 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 650 chipset clubbed with Adreno 510 GPU and 2GB of RAM.

On the camera front, the ZenPad Z8 flaunts an 8-megapixel primary camera without LED flash and it has a 2-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calling. The camera also features Asus’s PixelMaster technology to capture better low light stills. It comes with 16GB of inbuilt storage which can be expanded via microSD card up to 128GB.
The tablet is about 1mm thicker than Z580CA (6.6mm), removable back panel with leather patterned texture design. It comes with a loudspeaker located at the front bottom edge rim that integrated DTS-HD audio technology for better sound experience. It measures 205.2 x 136.3 mm and weighs around 320 grams.

Asus ZenPad Z8 runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS out of the box. It packs a massive 4680mAh battery that is claimed to last for a day with moderate usage. For connectivity, it comes with pre-installed (3FF) SIM card with 4G LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, A-GPS, Bluetooth 4.1, USB Type-C, and 3.5 mm audio jack options.
