Along with the series of new Smartphones includes the Asus ZenFone Max, ZenFone 2 Deluxe, ZenFone 2 Laser and the ZenFone Selfie, Asus also launched two new Tablets named ZenPad 7.0 and ZenPad 8.0.
The Asus ZenPad 7.0 (Z370CG) will be available at Rs. 11,999 – approximately $188 and with external Audio case at Rs. 14,999 – approximately $235. While the Asus ZenPad 8.0 (Z380KL) is priced at Rs. 14,999 – approximately $235 and with external Audio case at Rs. 17,999 – approximately $282. Both these Asus tablets are available in two voice-calling and Wi-Fi variants.
Asus ZenPad 7.0 Tablet with a simple and sleek design, it has a 7-inch display, a resolution of 1280×800 pixels and also protected by Corning Gorilla Glass. The tablet is powered by 64-bit Intel Atom x3-C3230 1.2GHz quad-core processor, 1GB/2Gb of RAM, Mali-450 MP4 GPU and 8GB/16GB of internal memory which can be further expandable via MicroSD card up to 128GB.

The ZenPad 7 1GB version will feature a 5-megapixel rear camera and 0.3-megapixel front-facing camera, while a ZenPad 7 2GB version will feature a 8-megapixel rear camera and 2-megapixel front camera. It runs on latest Android 5.0 Lollipop with Zen UI and supports 13Wh battery which can deliver up to 8 hours battery life.
For connectivity, includes 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and Micro-USB ports.
Meanwhile, Asus ZenPad 8.0 (Z380KL) comes with 4G LTE network. This tablet features a 8-inch display supports LED-backlit IPS Technology and a resolution of 1280×800 pixels. It is packed with an 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 (MSM8916) processor and while there is another model which packs a 64-bit Octa-core Snapdragon 615 (MSM8929) SoC. It’s backed by 1GB/2GB of RAM, and 8GB/16GB of internal memory which can be further expandable via MicroSD card up to 64GB.

Asus ZenPad 8.0 features a 5-megapixel rear camera and 2-megapixel front-facing camera. Both tablets have a removable back panel, which can be replaced with a different type of special ZenPad cases like an integrated 5.1 speaker case (Audio Cover), integrated 15 hours backup battery case (Power Cover), Zen Clutch and many more other regular colorful cases.
