Asus Zenfone Zoom US Launch, Price and Specifications

Asus Zenfone Zoom US Launch now official, the handset is now available for purchase exclusively via B&Hphotovideo store starting from today. Asus Zenfone Zoom price in US is set to $399 for unlocked variant.

To recall, Asus in December last year unveiled the Zenfone Zoom smartphone for Taiwan, priced at 13,990 TWD for the 64GB storage variant. The company had also launched a 128GB variant of the handset at 15,990 TWD.

Asus Zenfone Zoom ZX551ML unlocked 64GB variant features a 5.5-inch IPS LCD display with full HD 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution offers a high pixel density of 403ppi. The screen is also protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 4. The handset is powered by 2.3GHz quad-core processor that’s energized by an Intel Atom Z3580 chipset along with PowerVR G6430 GPU. It packs in 4GB of RAM and supports external memory card slot to expand memory up to 128GB.

The Zenfone Zoom main highlight of its camera functions; includes a 13-megapixel primary camera on the back with 3X optical zoom lens; aperture ranges from f/2.7 to f/4.8 and the laser auto focus. There is also Optical Image Stabilizer OIS and True Tone dual LED flash for better low light photography. It can also be shoot Full HD 1080p videos at 30 fps

On the front, it has a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with wide f/2.0 aperture to capture wide selfie portraits, its also specialized in imaging capabilities, promises to accurate and fast focus. However, if the lights were replaced with Xenon flash, it will more impressive.
